The Story
49,000 miles of family adventures.
The Sugarloaf has crossed the country side to side, top to bottom, and everywhere in between. Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and beyond. Not as a showpiece... as a family vehicle. Four kids, two adults, one van, and a philosophy: drive from hotel to hotel, stopping for adventures along the way.
No one in this family ever slept in it. That wasn't the point. The point was the drive itself.
We were driving back from the Rose Bowl Parade. My wife was driving through the mountains rocking Spotify on the stereo, the kids were giggling in back on the sofa on their iPads, and I was sitting in the middle row streaming the Rose Bowl on the big TV, listening on synced-up noise-canceling Bluetooth headphones and eating a sandwich. Everyone was less than six feet from another person.
So cool.
